Helping you to find balance and calm in the midst of life’s chaos.
Compassionate and neurodiversity-affirming therapy specializing in ADHD, anxiety, and burnout for teens and adults
For too long, you’ve been trying to manage everything on your own, putting others first and doing it all—but now, you’re realizing you need support.
You want to feel more centered and composed, but you're not sure how to get there.
Whether you are navigating heightened anxiety, cycles of burnout, people-pleasing, the overwhelm of late-diagnosed or suspected ADHD, or the specific fatigue involved with being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world, you might be feeling:
Overwhelm by constant demands and a growing to-do list
An urge to please others, even when it leaves you drained.
Unable to set boundaries or express your needs
Trapped in cycles of overthinking and self-doubt
A felt sense of being misunderstood, out of place, or different
So deeply tired—to your bones, but never feeling like there’s a good time to rest
Increasingly checked out— turning to scrolling, binge-watching, or shopping as a way to find temporary relief or quiet
Everything is feeling off and you know something needs to change.
Hi, I’m Allison Beer (she/her/hers), and I’m a licensed therapist and EMDR practitioner based in Pennsylvania.
I believe healing begins with letting yourself slow down.
You are worthy—no matter what you’ve been through—and your feelings are valid. This is a space where you can feel truly seen, supported, and accepted just as you are.
I know how hard it is to ask for help when you’re used to holding everything together. You’ve been carrying so much on your own, trying to think your way out of these feelings. But, if you could have thought your way out of it, you would have done that already. It’s time to dig deeper.
My approach is compassionate, down-to-earth, and judgment-free. Together, we’ll move beyond the overthinking, the people-pleasing, the putting your needs second, the stress and burnout, and the pain of the past, and we will create lasting change. You deserve support, relief, and a more connected and balanced life.

Anxiety
You’re caught in a cycle of overthinking, worst-case scenarios, and worry. No matter how hard you try, your mind won’t quiet, and your body swings between tension and exhaustion. ADHD & Neurodivergence
Being human is hard—especially in a world designed for neurotypical minds. You might feel scattered, overwhelmed, or frequently overstimulated. As a neurodivergent person, you may feel pressure to mask parts of yourself that, when nurtured, bring deep fulfillment and joy. My approach is neuro-affirming, strengths-based, and person-centered. Together, we’ll discover what works best for you and build a sustainable life where you can thrive as your most authentic self.
How I can help
-
EMDR is a trauma-focused therapy, which helps the brain process distressing memories, reducing their emotional intensity. By using bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements, EMDR promotes healing, fosters resilience, and supports lasting relief from past experiences. Learn more.

Internal Family Systems (IFS), also commonly referred to as Parts Work, is a therapeutic approach that helps you understand and connect with the different "parts" of yourself—like an inner critic, or people-pleasing part. It views these parts as valuable, even when they feel conflicting or challenging, and works to bring harmony by addressing their concerns with compassion and curiosity. This process helps cultivate self-awareness, healing, and a stronger connection to you, at your core. Learn more.
